Spuštění nového módu na serveru
K úspěšnému spuštění nového módu na vašem serveru budeme potřebovat RCON heslo. Tento návod platí jak pro server, který máte u nějaké společnosti, tak i pro server, který si vytvoříte u vás na PC. Pojďme tedy na to, není na tom nic těžkého!
Bude nás zajímat složka mods, kterou nalezneme klasicky v C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\mods. Budeme pracovat například s módem PAM 4.01, který si také můžete stáhnout z našeho webu.
Archív, který jsme stáhli, rozbalíme tedy do složky mods. Před rozbalením si ale musíme složku vytvořit, například jako pam401. Do ní následně rozbalíme soubory, které jsme stáhli.
Složka pam401 by vždy měla obsahovat minimálně dva soubory. Soubor s koncovkou .ff a soubor, který má příponu .iwd.
Zapneme Call of Duty 4 a po připojení na server se přihlásíme do RCON administrace serveru pomocí konzole (;). Následně zadáme příkaz +set fs_game "mods/pam401". Pokud je vše v pořádku, mód by se měl aktivovat.
Složku pam401 bychom samozřejmě mohli vytvořit i někde jinde, například ve složce main, takto to je ale mnohem přehlednější. Pokud bychom ale nahráli daný mód do složky main, musíme následně také v příkazu změnit cestu k módu. Příkaz by pak vypadal následovně: +set fs_game "main/pam401".
Některé módy mohou pro správnou funkčnost vyžadovat soubor cfg, tedy konfiguraci serveru. Pokud je vyžadován, v archívu by měl být taktéž. Pokud ne, měl by v něm být alespoň textový soubor, ve kterém naleznete, co má v konfiguračním souboru být.
Jestliže použijete jiný mód než tento, nezapomeňte vždy také změnit cestu v příkazu, který zadáváte do konzole. Mělo by to tedy vypadat asi takto: +set fs_game "složka/název složky, ve kterém jsou soubory daného módu".
